I told my mum when I was seven that one day I'd own Bonorong.
Back then, it was simply my favourite place in the world. I'd make a bag of kangaroo food last one pellet at a time, do lap after lap while my family waited, and peer through gaps in the fence trying to see what happened behind the scenes.
By 19 I was working there. At 22 I became manager. And at 25, somehow, I took it on.
What happened next turned a childhood obsession with wildlife into something much bigger than I ever imagined.
